PNEUMOLOGY AND PHTYSIATRY SECTION
ACADEMIC ACTIVITY

Fall 2010/2011

The main tasks in training students in this department are:

  1. Fostering skills in working in clinical environment;
  2. Connecting the dots between clinical and radio-morphological data and analyzing the laboratory results;
  3. Studying the groups of drugs used for treatments of the most common respiratory diseases.
  4. Providing hands-on experience with some procedures: tuberculin skin testing, spirometry , etc.

The training of the medical students is in 7th term, in two consequent cycles – Pneumology and Phtysiatry. The required amount of hours for completing the course is 60 hours – 40 hours practical exercises and 20 hours – lectures.
